This Privacy Policy is guided by our commitment to transparency and privacy protections for our clients and partners. Our goal is to ensure that new and existing clients understand how their data is used and the privacy standards we adhere to protect it.

This Privacy Policy describes Aeras' policies and procedures for the collection, disclosure, and use of Aeras users' data. Aeras uses this data to both improve and provide services.

By using Aeras services, users agree to the collection and use of such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Definitions.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

Aeras explicitly does not broker or sell any type of user data for any reason. It is used exclusively in conjunction with providing Aeras Services to users and furthering Aeras Services as part of our business. The use of data is outlined below:

A. Personal Data. Aeras may use personal data for the following purposes:

  • To contact users via email, SMS, telephone, or other equivalent forms of communication, such as a mobile application’s push notifications. Communication tools are essential to providing Aeras Services as a technical support provider.

  • To create accounts relevant to delivering and supporting Aeras Services for users with data processors that act as service providers to Aeras. These processors and their relevant, individual privacy policies are documented in the Aeras Third Party Service Agreement.

  • To manage and respond to requests for technical support for users.

  • To provide notifications, updates, and send two-factor authorization codes regarding accounts for Aeras Services.

  • To provide and maintain Aeras Services, including monitoring the usage of Aeras Services, including this website.

  • To provide service and deliverables as part of an agreement or contract.

  • To manage user accounts, to maintain registrations of users as part of service delivery of Aeras Services, and to enable user access to Aeras Services.

  • To provide users with general information, events that Aeras may facilitate, special offers for Aeras Services, and relevant news. Aeras does not advertise via SMS, but may choose to do so via email or social media from time to time.

B. Financial Data. Aeras may use financial data for the following purposes:

  • To confirm invoicing history and financial transaction records.

  • To process invoices for Aeras Services, one-time or recurring.

C. Usage Data. Aeras may use usage data for the following purposes:

  • For facilitating changes to and improvements in Aeras Services, including this website.

5. Disclosure of Data.

Aeras may be required to disclose data under certain circumstances, outlined below:

A. Business Transactions. If Aeras is involved in an acquisition, asset sale, or merger, data may be transferred as part of the transaction. Any data transferred will become subject to a differing privacy policy at that time.

Aeras strives to use industry-standard security best practices and commercially available security measures to protect and safeguard data, but we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

7. Analytics.

Aeras may use third-party data processors to monitor and analyze the use of Aeras Services, including this website.

Aeras utilizes Google Analytics for this purpose. Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.

Users may opt out of having their activity on this website made available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js, and dc.js) from sharing visit activity information with Google Analytics. 8. Marketing.

Aeras may use data to contact users regarding newsletters, general information, events that Aeras may facilitate, special offers for Aeras Services, and relevant news. Aeras does not advertise Aeras Services via SMS, but may choose to do so via email or social media from time to time. Users may opt out or unsubscribe from any marketing material sent to them.

9. Payments.

Aeras provides paid services to facilitate the delivery of Aeras Services. Aeras uses third-party payment processing services to process payments. Aeras does not store any client's bank account information or payment card details. This information is provided directly to our third-party payment processor, whose use of data is governed by their privacy policy.

These payment processors adhere to PCI-DSS standards, managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment information.

10. California’s Shine the Light Law.

Under California Civil Code Section 1798 (California's Shine the Light law), California residents with an established business relationship with Aeras can request information once a year about the sharing of their data with third parties for those third parties' direct marketing purposes.

If a user is a California resident and would like to request more information under the California Shine the Light law, they may do so by emailing team@aeras.tech.

11. California Privacy Rights for Minor Users.

California Business and Professions Code Section 22581 allows California residents under 18 who are registered users of online sites, services, or applications to request and obtain the removal of content or information they have publicly posted.

As a California resident, a user may request the removal of such data by submitting a request to team@aeras.tech. Be aware that a request does not guarantee complete or comprehensive removal of content or information posted online and that the law may not permit or require removal in certain circumstances.

12. Links to Other Websites.

Links to other websites are not operated by Aeras. If a user clicks a third-party link, they will be directed to that site. Aeras advises users to review the privacy policy of each site they visit. Aeras has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy.

Aeras may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Aeras may communicate this change at the time of any updates, but will consistently inform users by keeping this page current with Aeras business practices. The “Effective As Of” date at the top of this Privacy Policy shall serve to inform all users of recent changes.

Aeras users are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
